So you are telling me they can't be masked under the NOC code "6311 – Food service supervisors" with skill level B ?

Employment requirements

- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

I assume you have to be a supervisor. Do they flip burgers, too? I assumed they supervise those that flip burgers. ?

Well, this begs the question, how do you supervise a burger flipper ?

Shouldn't you be competent at that job to at least be able to supervise someone else doing it and potentially intervene if the person is doing it wrong ?

Legit questions !

I remember seeing : biometrics fees 0 CAD for me and my spouse... Even if we don't say we had previously given them.

But at the time we "make" our Passeport we give our biometrics and they are saved in it (French Passeport) can someone relate?
I'm not 100% sure, but countries that comprise the 5 eyes, share information very readily, but not sure if biometrics would be included. Their website says if you're a national of any other country, you'll have to give biometrics. I'd prepare for being given a BIL.

OK thanks for your ANSWERS!
I am then waiting for my "BIL"...

1. Who came with the idea that a bachelor or Master should be valued the same for every country and university in terms of points ?

Isn't that exactly what the ECA is for? We spend a lot of time and money to get our degrees assessed according to Canadian benchmark. ECA does a thorough job of looking at our courses and grades and then provides us Canadian equivalency. I, for one, think it's a fair system.

I just realized that there was no option to upload my spouse's IELTS document anywhere, although I did provided the test result details etc in Application where they asked fot it. We claimed points for it. I know the details should be sufficient but should I also provide them the certificate via web form as well since we're in post AOR phase.

No, there's no specific slot for it. You need to add it with the other supporting documents that you upload under their "Client Information".

OR have observed that people attach ITELS with ECA/Education documents as well
Yeah I did mine in ECA/Education section but since there was no such section for my spouse, I forgot to add it. How should I approach it now?

First of all, since we were talking about CRS points, my first remark was about points.
Meaning, how do you reward the same amount of points regardless of where and at which university someone has completed their Bachelor/Master/PhD degree ? In some countries even the infrastructure to go to the university is broken, let alone the quality of the degree acquired.

Secondly, you are confusing value with equivalency. Refer to my statement again.
So, you are telling me that just because you have done exactly the same courses as you would have done in a university in Canada, your degree is somehow at the same level with all other universities around the world and that of Canada ? Its like saying Iphone and Nokia have the same value because both of them are phones and have cameras, bluetooth, WiFi, etc.

Would you care to give your opinion on why is Harward renowned one of the TOP universitites in the world or Oxford if you like, and we can start our discussion from there.
