If you have a copy of the passport (scan/physical copy) you can still complete the passport details (passport number/issue & expiry dates etc) as usual but you will need to provide an explanation on the missing passport (irrespective of whether you're applying by paper or online). Chances are you made a copy of the old passport during your PR application.

Thanks for ur reply, I don’t have any scan copy , but my old passport is totally blank , when I applied for Canada it was new passport ( my present passport) & my new one passport show I m 3 years psychically present in canada. Here citizenship form need last 5 years passport information. My new passport issued date 2018 then I apply for pr this new passport.

Another option is to wait bit longer, so that 5 year period falls outside of the range and you need to provide info only about the current passport you are having now. Sorry, couldn't think of anything else.

You can't provide what you don't have...
If I was in your position, I would make sure to apply with a generous buffer over the 1095 days limit, and have largely enough days within the timeframe covered by the current passport.

If the IRCC agent working on your case has no doubts regarding your eligibility, there's a high chance he won't need to look at passport stamps and such. I applied with around 300 days buffer, the agent barely looked at the ID page in my current passport and completely ignored the older one during a 5 minutes interview, and a family member of mine with a 200 days buffer applied online, and didn't get a request to provide the scanned copy of all passport pages. That may be overkill given that you arrived in Canada with your current passport, but the easier the application, the less complications there are, and since missing documents can potentially lead to additional documentation requests (RQ or RQ lite), better to not take a chance right?

Add an explanation letter to your application regarding the missing document and add its information if you have it, maybe throw a police report for the missing passport, and it should go well. There are others who faced the same issue and reported a successful application in this forum after all...

That, or, obviously, the solution given by @wink, if you're in no rush.

This does not disqualify you. As others have observed, you can and should include a supplemental statement explaining you are not submitting a passport, including as many precise details as you can including the date the passport expired (at least best estimate).

The extent to which it can be a problem depends on how relevant it could be, which is mostly about the extent to which it could have been used during the last five years.

If that passport expired in 2018 and if that passport was replaced/renewed BEFORE you landed and became a Canadian Permanent Resident, there should be no problem at all. Again, include a supplemental statement explaining you are not submitting a previous passport, including as many precise details as you can including the date the passport expired (at least best estimate), and then it is not likely there will be any issue at all.

Otherwise, if you have been in Canada for well over the 1095 day threshold since that passport expired, odds are good it will not have much affect on how things go, but of course without a copy of it there is no confirmation of the date it expired. Nonetheless, the date your current passport was issued should at least help corroborate when it replaced the now missing one. As @Seym suggested, in this situation being sure to have a good buffer over the minimum 1095 day required presence is a good idea. That's a good idea anyway, but for an applicant with a missing passport, a bigger buffer is a good idea.

As @wink suggested, you could wait to apply until sometime next year when it has been more than five years since that passport expired. For sure works. But that is probably overkill, as in not necessary.

Note: if that passport was still valid when you applied for and became a Canadian Permanent Resident, and it could have been used within the last five years, you should be able to submit a copy of at least the bio-pages from what you submitted in the course of applying for PR. If you do not have a copy of what you submitted when you applied for PR, probably time to make a more concerted effort to keep and maintain important personal records. Going forward. Like keeping a complete copy of what you submit in making the citizenship application.

I did lose mine which covered the whole 5 years eligibility period.

i responded to the email where they asked me for the pictures of all the passport pages stating that i lost it.

i became citizen last week and they never interviewed me or asked additional questions/documents

i am from a Visa free country, not sure if that made any difference
