There have been a few reports of in-person oaths and interviews in this forum especially in IRCC Scarborough. Majority of the oaths and interviews are still virtual. I guess, as the pandemic eases, they may make more in-person services available. However, I don't believe they have made an official announcement to that effectHello Everyone,
I didn't see this anywhere else posted, but a friend of my wife just completed here IN PERSON Oath Ceremony this morning in Montreal. Did they announce this anywhere ?
This is great if they are resuming this. I wish mine was in person it would of been better I personally think and then you get your certificate that day verses having to wait 4 weeks like I did for it to come in the mail. Good Luck!Hello Everyone,

Congratulations. Please let us know after the ceremony if you received your certificate on the same day.I am in GTA. My oath is scheduled for next Tuesday in-person in Mississauga Location
Guess the jokes is on the six million plus people that died from covid if it doesn’t pose a higher risk than other diseasesHaha, federal government employees still riding the pandemic bonanza for all its worth. Are they planning to go back to pre-pandemic normal operations ever ? Covid is not going away, but it doesn't pose higher risk than other diseases at this point, so not sure what they are waiting for. Probably just stalling to get another year of work from home.
Hi, Yes we received the certificate in the end of the Ceremony. It was an hour session. Very brief and fast.Congratulations. Please let us know after the ceremony if you received your certificate on the same day.
Did you get any update on the tracker ? I have a feeling that our applications have gone under the pile. Around 5.5 months for me without any update.Hello Everyone,

I think that’s how it always used to be. Same thing in the US - you got the naturalization certificate at the end of the ceremony.A number of people in Montreal from another group I'm in have reported having in-person oaths in Montreal.
Many people in this forum have reported in-person oaths in Scarborough, and a few in Mississauga.
In all cases, the certificate is given the same day, right after the ceremony.
