what is GCKey?. We applied through Online portal only. So i dont know much about GCkey

PA received an update on tracker that Eligibility is completed - Oct 06. what does this mean?
In PA email, received Pre arrival services letter.
Medical not updated
Biometrics shows received

Eligibility Completed yesterday. Received Pre-Arrival service letter. COPR document number updated in PR tracker. But, COPR document isn't received yet.
Anyone in the same situation?

Eligibility is when IRCC determines that the applicant is qualified to apply for Permanent Residence under the class of application they applied for. For example, it means the analyst has confirmed that the primary applicant is eligible to apply for the family class - Spousal Sponsorship. The Immigration Officer may have additional questions later on in the process, but for now your application has passed the analysts review. The Pre-Arrival letter is automatically triggered in the system when the eligibility is changed to yes.
For GCKey, some people have found the linking a little picky. For me, I had to have the number of dependents changed to two, due to the PA having two children, even though one is no longer a dependent and is not going to Canada. Here is some additional information that may be of assistance:
1. Press Link application to this Account
2. Permanent Residence - Family Class (Spouses)
3. First Name, Last Name & DOB - Fill PA's details here
OR
3. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/paste application number from email (including the F) and enter PA's last name
4. Select one of two options next: Place of Birth or Passport Details
5. Fill PA's info for the option you selected above and not both at the same time
6. Put the Details of the City where the PA plans to reside after getting PR, this info should match with what you put in form IMM0008
7. Put Marital Status as what you put in your application.
8. Put '2' as the number of members in the application for sponsor + spouse (add +1 per dependents)
NOTE: Sometimes putting MARITAL STATUS as SINGLE also works.

I think every ghost updates means something bcoz, I received ghost updates whole week everyday and then got medical yesterday and sposnor eligibility completed. On tracker it shows sponsor eligibility completed on oct06 but I got to know on oct 7 so that means these ghost updates really means something. Same on oct 13, tracker updated but no real update and then later I checked that on that day I got my biometrics refund.
