NEED URGENT HELP! visa rejected 16 years ago, i was young and was not aware of this!

hi. i recently applied for student visa AND my husband applied for OWP.
All this time i thought only my father applied for canada visa last 2006 and he was rejected! just now i clarified with my mom that it was a family application with my father as the main applicant and our application was rejected twice! it was a honest misunderstaning, i did not know that my application as his daughter was also submitted and rejected.

my current status now is this:

Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • August 29, 2022 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • August 26, 2022 Completed.
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
I DID NOT DECLARE THE REJECTION AS I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS, IT WAS AN HONEST MISTAKE. SHOULD I CONTACT THEM NOW WHILE MY VISA IS STILL ON PROCESS AND TELL THEM ABOUT THE REJECTION 16 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS STILL TEEN? I AM NOW MARRIED AND UPDATED MY SURNAME TO MY HUSBAN'S BUT I AM SURE THEY WILL STILL TRACE THIS RECORD. NEED URGENT ADVISE ON WHAT SHOULD I DO.

Raise a web form and tell them about that. If not, you are risking a misrepresentation.

that's what i was thinking, i already contacted my agent who was guiding me with my application, they will raise a webform on monday. i hope this wont affect our application :(
