What is your processing office? I thought I was the only one waiting over 2 months from DM to get oath, but it seems there are a few others popping up here and there.

Vancouver sent FP and Manitoba sent test invite, so have no idea who is working on my application.

If anyone gets a chance to observe the 2022 citizenship applications, they would notice that those applications are receiving AOR in shorter time compared to the 2021 applications. Many 2022 online applicants received AOR within a week.

My question is, will this increase the backlog ?

Vancouver sent FP and Manitoba sent test invite, so have no idea who is working on my application.

I think Vancouver sends all FP requests. So Manitoba is your processing office. I've seen a handful of applications in Manitoba and SK that are also delayed in getting oath, so that isn't unheard of and you'll have to wait, but hopefully not that much longer!

Hello forum members. I need your advice on this. Its been more than 2 months that my test has been marked completed. Background Check, Physical Presence, Prohibitions and Language are still in progress. My question is that should I submit a webform in order to request information on background check ? As I have seen in case of most of the forum members, background check is usually completed before and after the test, if not than fingerprints are requested. None of this has happened in my case. Please share views.

Now I realize how random and absurd this whole process has been. TOTALLY UNFAIR to us online applicants.

I am on with you. I am unable to understand how they work. There is no set pattern that I can see and specially its unfair with online applicants

I received my Citizenship Certificate yesterday, Oath was completed on 16th August, status changed to closed on 24th August. Certificate received on 1st Sept 2022.

I guess they will send me the email closer to the date. Is it in-person though?
