Noooo, I know it is hard to stay positive with this insane processing times but you will see we all be receiving good news soon!
I know this sounds strange but I hate positivity, I prefer bracing for the worst news possible and preparing a defence.

I'm requesting SINP to renew my nomination certificate/work permit support letter so I can just go apply for a new work permit at a Port of Entry and just be fucking done with it. Figured since I have to be at North Portal for a party I may as well go to the border while I'm at it.

I called IRCC because my WP application submitted first week of March and no decision to date. IRCC client support say they put a note to my file saying the processing time for my application has been lapsed.

They didn't even start reviewing my eligibility.

I got a ghost update today - they're reviewing my eligibility. Hopefully I know by the end of this week whether it's approved as I was planning to flagpole...

Don't apply online if you plan to flagpole. If you're going to flagpole, take all your documents and do it.

No they won't/can't say shit like "your application is in process online" - IRCC permits applicants to apply for a permit at the border and it is your right to do so. Just make sure the port you choose offers immigration services and pick a time that's not busy. The only reason they can reject processing you at the spot is if it's too busy.

The only problem is I already applied online on 15th May for PGWP. Can I still head to the border with all my documents?
