Same here ): last year and earlier this year they were processing them in around 2-3 months, saw a few cases of people who applied in January and got their CSQ in March. Maybe they are overload with work because of the war

I see, well he applied online but from outside Canada, we were kind of shock at the airport when they told him that the WP was going to be valid for 2 years only. If students of your same program got theirs for 3 years makes me think it just depends on the officer either if you flagpole, got it...

My husband also holds a PGWP, the correspondence letter he received said that the work permit was going to have a validity of 3 years, but once he arrived at the airport they issued the work permit for only 2 years because that was the length of his studies, even though the correspondence letter...

And they gave you less than the length of your studies?

Hello, I applied inside Canada, I had a visitor record issued at the airport when I arrived last year which was valid until next year, so then yes my case is visitor to worker. I was not under implied status. I applied from QC.

I received my correspondence letter and Im thinking they screw it up lol, under document type it says: Permit - WP-EXT / Permis - PT-PROR which sounds to me like extension don't you think? but I didn't apply for an extension, it is my first time applying and it is supposed to be an open work...

Thank you! well the only time I called them was last Thursday when the customer service lady told me she was going to send a notification to the officer to let him/her know that my application has exceeded the normal processing time, the day after they started reviewing my eligibility (Friday)...
