I have an on-going inland common law sponsorship and we got married last week. I know we have to notify IRCC of the change in circumstance. But do we have to withdraw the inland common law sponsorship and re-apply for inland spousal sponsorship? Thanks.

No, unless it's refused for sometime. Just advise them that you got married with copy of marriage certificate, etc.

We went through the same thing but for outland. Once you send them a copy of the mariage certificate they'll change the category of the sponsorship from common law to spousal directly.

Hi! Did the change of status reset your processing time? How did this affect timeline wise?
