Should I reapply for reconsideration for the refusal based on previous studies, marsksheets etc

Today I got refusal based on following reason
Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous
studies, mark sheets, academic record, level of establishment and/or your future prospects and
plans
My question is that should I order GCMS notes or should I apply for reconsideration?

Order GCMS notes. What was the error in law to apply for reconsideration? Do not know your profile or program but seems like you didn't provide the correct academic documents/transcripts; didn't justify the costs of the program by showing future prospects, and your qualifications for the program with past education and current/past jobs were not solidified.

You can order them through the government ($5) or through an organization. Google "order GCMS notes" and you will get links to Gov of Canada to order. Expect about 3 months due to backlogs. If you can address reasons for refusal then reapply.

Thank you !! I will reapply definitely after getting GCMS notes. One more question should I withdraw my application from college or should I ask for deferal as my course is not available for January Intake?

Graduate certificate in IT Infra from Fanshawe college..I had 6 backlogs in my last year of Bachelor degree but I didn't submit my backlog certificate. I only submitted my consolidted transcript for visa application. Could this be the reason for my visa refusal?

The main culprit here is your proposed program of studies in Canada. You are trying to pursue a grad certificate after completing a bachelor's degree. I'm not saying it's impossible but you'd have to put forward a solid case else your application will keep getting refused. Justify the costs of the study and make sure you let them know the valid reasons for pursuing this program from CA and not from your home country.

No, not submitting a backlog certificate is not the reason for the refusal. The reason for your refusal is the questionable choice of the study program. You have 5+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree and you say that a grad certificate will help you in your career progression? How? India offers such programs as well and at a very cheap cost. You need to have a rock solid argument to justify the selection of program otherwise the visa officer won't even care to go through your entire file. Finances are fine, it's the program.

I dont think so. choice of program is the issue, the fact that you hold bachelor degree. By the way, Canada is NOT the only country offering such career oriented course relevant to that field....

There are other countries like UK, NZ but they are of Masters nature..This course is perfect for my work experience and academic background to upgrade my IT skills as IT Infrastructure Administrator..So not submitting my failed marsheets and backlog certificate is not the reason as per you..Am I right?

I really tried my best to convince VO why this course is best for my career progression. After GCMS notes I will reapply one more time. Thanks a lot for your advice!! If course selection is reason, I will change the current course for sure...

Might as well - it's not like there's any extra charge for submitting a reconsideration request. Everyone who gets refused should apply for reconsideration, in my opinion. Just don't have expectations and treat it like a lottery.
