Waiting for email for Citizenship ceremony taking too long?

From Edmonton processing ofc here. Im just wondering, me and hubby already completed citizenship test (and passed) last March and it's been 4 mos already and no update yet for the oath taking. I have read in the cic site that it takes 3 to 4 months after the completion of exam, to receive the email for oath taking. And it's more than four months already. Should i email our MP? Or still wait? Our PR card is expired already and we wanna go home to motherland before the year ends. feeling paranoid.

there is no need to feel paranoid...i understand the frustration you are having...it would make sense to reach out to your MP and ask them to reach out to IRCC on your behalf for an update.

@ms.eheads when was you DM? I'm processed by Niagara Falls, took the test March 1 so just passed 5 months, tracker last updated June 13 shows DM June 10, still waiting for oath invite, which is unusually slow. Glad to see I'm not the only one, although it's really frustrating that we're both still waiting.

Ooooh! We actually dont have DM yet. Sorry for jumping over that step. So we are just literally waiting for DM. Then the oath taking email right? Sheesh. Why they are really taking slow? Covid is not a valid reason anymore.

The wait between test to DM is too long for many people, but for most people, once they get DM the oath invite comes pretty fast (after between 1 day and 3 weeks). My wait from test to DM was long but not abnormally so (almost 3.5 months), but my wait from DM to oath invite is already abnormally and disturbingly long (which seems to happens to a small minority of people who end up waiting indefinitely)

Have you ordered the notes and I would say get notes and then talk to your MP for update

Gosh that's even more complicated than mine! Maybe w she should go email our MPs? From where is your processing ofc?
