I have a question regarding the status in the application trackers. There are two application trackers and the status varies in both. In the new one(https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca) the status is "In Progress", however in the old tracker(https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas) it is "Application Received". Has anyone noticed any change in status in the old tracker as well, like "In Process"? If yes, how long does it take on an average for the status to change to "In Process" after AOR?

where are you seeing option to provide 2022 tax information? Are you preparing an application with submission date in Jan 2023? Otherwise the application (even paper application PDF form) should not ask you for 2022 until (Jan 1st 2023).

I think once you enter your PR date and application date (assuming it in year 2022), the form will only ask you 2017 to 2021 (5 years) tax information. For 2017, you should select 'No' for both 'required to file' and 'tax filed' questions. Hope this helps.

1. You are right that the start date in the paper based application is off by 1 day (compared to the online physical presence calculation). Since it is automatically calculated based on your 'To' date in the PDF file, there is not much you can do about it. I did some search on this forum a few weeks ago and found that this question been asked multiple times. I think the general consensus was not to worry about it. To be safe, for question 10 (addresses in last 5 years), perhaps use the start date that is calculated in the application (CIT0002E) to be safe. You dont need to worry about date in question 11 as it is based on YYYY-MM only and does not need date.

2. The online instruction guide says that we don't need to sign printout of physical calculation, however, Question 9 in CIT0002E suggests that we need to sign. I decided to sign to be safe but i think it should be fine without as well.

Hope this helps.

I dont think you need to attach any tax documents at all. The only other tax related information you provide is SIN. I dont think his cooperation tax information will be needed anywhere.
