Hi Guys @scylla and @armoured

So here is what my lawyer had to say about ARC and Interview timing and mandamus:
1) ARC will be processed after the eligibility interview.
2) Interviews are being held within 18 to 24 months of the date London Visa office has received our application (WOOOWZAA!!).
3) Mandamus should be applied after at least 3months has passed since the processing time which is listed on their website. Scylla was right about this.

In regards to supporting docs my lawyer said I can myself gather all the documents and send it to them directly to LVO email address rather than the webform. I don't know why she said to email directly. But if I have a representative, shouldn't they send it? And is webform or direct email recommended?

Also in terms of further proof of relationship. I will be providing these docs listed below:

1) Our daughters birth certificate. 3 pictures of our daughter.
2) Financial Documents such as Joint bank statements and Interac transfers
3) 10 pictures of the time that my wife visited me.
4) Ticket reservation of when she came and visited.
5) Recent whatsapp messages between us. (only 1 page)
6) Letters by me and my wife. Not Russian novels but with facts.

Also my wife wants to visit me again with our daughter and we have already booked a ticket for her for a later date but our future plans are not concrete yet and can change. We have just booked the ticket for now. The lawyer said to include that as well as this shows our future plans. But I feel as if this will negatively impact our application as in:

1) The officer will loose the interest in lets say expediting our application due to the fact that I will see my daughter eventually.
2) The officer can create more hurdles in terms of intent to return. Then we would have to show more docs to show intent of return.

Should this be included that she might come visit me in the near future with our daughter? Or is the past proof of relationship evidence good enough?

I don't understand how the future plans harm your application. I agree with your lawyer and would include this.

1) I don't understand this point. They will just process it according to their current / normal processing steps. They aren't going to change the processing speed because you have a future visit planned.
2) I don't understand this point either. They are just planning a short trip. I don't see what this has to do with intent to return.

Thankyou for that. Yes it was a doubt that I had in my mind. I appreciate you clearing that up and we will include our future plans as well.

Also:

1) Can we email them rather than our rep? or should they send it?
2) Is webform or direct email recommended?

Either you or your rep can do so. Since it's a lawyer, his office doing so is going to cost you much more money, so entirely reasonable for the rep to suggest you can send it yourself.

I have no idea which is better. Personally I'd do both - London email first with note you will copy to webform, and then do the webform several days later. But probably unnecessary.

Did you get pre-arrival?
Hi, any progress with your application. I ordered GCMS notes and it says interview required.

The notes the officer mentioned

“Satisfied marriage is valid.
The PA and sponsor state that they first met in person on 1 august 2018 when they both attended the same workshop at the University of … they indicate that their respective parents arranged the marriage. Additional evidence of relationship was requested. Updated documents reviewed.”

this is what we have written in our application. I don’t know why it triggered interview and the officer said I am satisfied the marriage is valid.

any thoughts on this @scylla
thanks

I don't think I can say. Probably related to whatever additional documents they requested.

Hi, they asked for chat, money transfer recipients and if the sponsor visited the PA. I provide them the WhatsApp chats ss and money transfer receipt and mentioned that I have classes and working in n my research in university and did not get time to visit. Then I visited after 3 months and when comeback I provided the evidence.
In the GCMS notes the officer notes are after my visit and I provided already the evidence.
I don’t know the officer review the visit evidence.
also we did not get any email about the interview. I came to know from MP office and GCMS notes.
