Congrats! What do you mean by "as expected"?
I can't find my previous post on this thread but back in June when there was a lot of talk going on about sending in paper applications, I mentioned that based on the trend I was expecting to see a ghost update in the end of July and possibly a test invite by the first week of August. I also said that if I didn't see that happen then I'd move to a paper application.

Seems like my calculations were correct. I think I should get a test invite by next week.

To make your calculations, did you go by the AOR date or delivery date?

This is quite interesting. So basically online folks who submitted their application in November are getting test invites in July? An 8 month wait for the test?

I haven't gotten the invite yet, so no online applicants are not getting test invites in July. I'll update this thread if I do get one

This has to be a joke.

So I sent my online application online on March 5th, got AOR on April 6th, and portal updated on April 7th

I sent my wife and 2 daughters application on paper May 30th and they got their AOR on June 14th and portal updated June 15th. Today wife's profile updated July 15th while mine still last updated April 7th.

Just WOW

I do hope that my wife and kids get the citizenship ASAP, but this has to be ridiculous. We're living in the same place, in fact I have been around a 100 days longer and the reason for spreading out our applications was that at least someone should get the application quicker. At that time we were thinking that surely the online application would move quicker but in case it doesn't, the rest of the folks will get their citizenship.

Oh well.....

Do they process family applications separately? I thought they're usually consistent with getting them in together.

Correct.

Oh, I see, the previous poster thought that I had applied with my family on paper.

No, I applied 3 months earlier than them online, and the family applied on paper.
Ah okay, then for all intents and purposes they're separate applications and they wouldn't be processed together. True family applications on paper have similar timelines between individuals on the app. `
