NEED SUGGESTIONS BUYING CAR FOR CASH!

HELP NEEDED!

I have been laid off from my job and all I have right now is a cash job. I have about $3000 saved up for a down payment for buying a car. I cant deposit that into the bank because it is from a cash job however thats my only source of income. Can someone please tell me how I can pay my EMI using cash and buy a car using cash? Why not just buy a car with your $3000? No point going into debt while unemployed..

I agree with you @foodie69 however I also dont want to go for a very old car and have to keep spending money on repairs and high gas with the old engine. I cant go any more than a 2012 and it will cost around 12-13k. anything i can do to pay with the money i get from my cash job for the emi and down?
