What a small draw, they said they will be doing draws of pre-pandemic size. LOL.

hopefully there is a CEC draw tomorrow or soon, it will take months even though my score is 501 right now

They did say ‘gradually resume’ in the tweet, so hopefully it means the draws will gradually get back to pre-pandemic size.

I don’t think they are gonna do CEC only draws there is no indication nor justification for that. Hopefully draws will get bigger and we will get our ITAs soon (I am also 501)

Exactly. They're gonna increase the draw size slowly. We can expect back-to-back draw too.

This was basically targeting the PNP+CEC candidates.

I'm kind of worried because my CEC score is only 337... does anyone in here have any insight or think I'll still have a chance? I am here on a work permit (which has since been extended) and I am currently working, paying taxes in Canada, etc.

Exactly , may be it happens or they keep the draw size same as today for next few months , my score is 508 as of now and my profile expires in Nov 2022

Have you completed more than 1 or 2 years in Canada ? Any ways you can increase your score with a job offer or something else like a better score (9+ clb in all) as with that score chances are less at this point

Justification is there if they want to keep the CEC applicants in Canada for people who’s work permits are expiring that way people can file for BOWP and he said somewhere that he doesn’t want to loose people who are already in Canada so this would be in Canada’s interest, otherwise people may have to leave

I have been working here full time on a work permit since November 2019, I have immigration lawyers working on my behalf and apparently this is the current highest score I can have but perhaps there are more points I can get elsewhere.. it's a tough one.

Ohkk.. all the best to you !!
A valid job offer can give you 50(noc A) or 200( noc 00 ) points if you have LMIA or you’re LMIA exempt work permit ( e.g - ICT work permit). Look into that.

Don't overlook the PNP option, never say never, a province may invite and then you'll get the 600 points that goes with it.
