Still waiting for my claimant ID and work permit.
I applied also for an open work permit seperately online, it was accepted, but still processing.
CBSA says they have a large number of refugee applicants so just have to wait....Still cant understand why does it take so long to print cliamant id...

Did you have the eligibility interview or not yet? Usually, from what I see they will issue you the ID as soon as you finish your interview.

One day later I made a claim at the airport, I had an interview. They gave me AOC and said that i need to come t another interview. I didnt get date for the second. My lawyer was really surprised, because actually what was at the aiport , was an eligibility interview... I am confused, and the process is totally different from the official information .

You will have a 2nd one thats when they give you brown paper

Hello to all the community. I greatly appreciate answers to my questions?

I applied online Dec 2021
I had medical appointment Jan 2022,
Received Acknowledge of claim and notice to return for the interview (only for fingerprints, pictures and passport seize) on June 7, 2022.

Now the status concept says "scheduled" referring this to the last appointment.

The last time I did not received an email telling, I have to check the portal because changes. So, I am checking now every day my online portal, without changes.

-What announcement I have to expect in my online portal to know I have a date for the eligibility interview?
-What number I can call to ask about my case. I am in Ottawa?

Experiences also can help me.

Guys any update to this thread ?

Did I mention that I got my WP on April 2022 by mail & get the SIN number from Service Ontario after? Waiting for my date of hearing, I have no idea when I will get it. Back in my home country my family suffering for this delay. I can't explain my situation better but every moment is a long day.
