May 18 - Biometrics requested
May 27 - Biometrics submitted
May 30 - Biometrics uploaded in tracker

Eligibility not started
Background verification not started

As long as it does not say that it is valid after marriage. You should be fine.

If you just received the AOR , suggest waiting for 24 - 48 hours before you can login , i had the same issue worked after logging in after 24 hours on getting AOR

Nope don't have a gckey account , was getting error thought will give it a try some time later.

It's been more than 3.5 months, I submitted a paper based spousal application(March 10, 2022). No information yet. Submitted a web form three weeks ago; no reply until now.

Same here. Exact same situation. Seems like there's something wrong with the March 10, 2022 batch, specifically. Maybe our case officer is on indefinite leave and IRCC just totally forgot about the files from that day.

Applied March 30. Wife from United States. Applied Online Outland . Just got letter today saying

"Please note your application has been rejected for the following reason:
USE OF REPRESENTATIVE (IMM 5476)
Your application package is being returned to you because it has been identified that you may be using a representative and/or have not properly completed the required Use of Representative (IMM 5476) form."

I have copy of application that submitted and this form was fully filled out and signed. I used the latest form downloaded the day I submitted the application.

The guide even does say if your the spouse and want updates, etc. you need to fill this form out. The letter reads like a spouse can't be a representative.

Very confused.

Eligibility status has been updated to In progress

Does anyone know what that means exactly?
