2022 PR application timeline

Hi All,

Can we please post our 2022 PR applications timeline here . The other timelines are for previous years, so that doesn't help us who are recent applicants .

June 2022- Submitted PR application online

Jan 11th 2022-Submitted PR application online

Jan 19th 2022-Received a letter from IRCC that they have received my application but this letter doesn’t mean that my application is in process. They issued me a Temporary Application number starting with X for reference. Since than no Update.

May 19, 2022 submitted my application online.
June 7, 2022 received temporary application number with X.
No update till this moment.

I don’t think they will send that to you. Most persons don’t get it. Just take off the X on your current temporary number and try checking the status using ECAS. If it works, that obviously means that your process has started and if not, either u enter the wrong info or they haven’t started the processing.

We are same. January 6 submitted
And January 19 they received my PR application
No update

Hi guys
I have posted my paper pr application on June 10 and the post website says that it has been received in 13 June but i haven’t received any email from immigration yet ! It’s about 2 months now and I’m worried that i didn’t recived the AOR yet ; is this normal ?! Should i do anything??

wait atleast 7-8 months its too early to receive something

Hey guys I applied on December 12 2021. I didn’t receive anything other than the email saying they received my application on December 22. I just checked my application status on the phone, and it said I don’t need an interview, medical.. etc and my application is in the background check :/ why I didn’t receive any email updates about my application and is that means they start working on my application? And what’s next after the background check ?

They are not actually doing your background check because it’s the last step. And yeah they are not sending emails recently.

April 26, 2022 received temporary application number with X.
No update till now.

Tnx in advance but everyone saying that after applying they have received AOR or some file number that begins with “X” in about under a month ;am i right?! I know that i must wait for processing to begin at least 6 months but is this normal that i haven’t received any thing after 2 months of posting my paper application?!

They are not actually doing your background check because it’s the last step. And yeah they are not sending emails recently.

Yeah that’s what thought I was able to link my application to my account so that’s good

I submitted pr application online July 20, and until now I didn't receive temporary application number. Do you think I have to call them?
