Thank you so much!! One more question, if I want to dispute the charge in court, no matter what the outcome is, the conviction that goes on my driving record or not. It will not interfere with my permanent residence application right?its not a criminal record, so no, don't need to worry

In that case you had to give the details to IRCC.Thank you so much!! One more question, if I want to dispute the charge in court, no matter what the outcome is, the conviction that goes on my driving record or not. It will not interfere with my permanent residence application right?
Oh no Really? Will that affect my PR application? I dispute the charge, I got a reprimand on the driving record. In that case you had to give the details to IRCC.
Better to do it now and why gets added again to the wait list and again go through the dilemma of " you are requested to provide additional documents" and "we are processing additional documents provided by you".Oh no Really? Do I send them the personal driver abstract? Should I do it now or wait for them to ask for it?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you! Will that affect me from getting the PR? Not in terms of time, but the passingBetter to do it now and why gets added again to the wait list and again go through the dilemma of " you are requested to provide additional documents" and "we are processing additional documents provided by you".
Sorry I didn't got you. Were you charged? Did you try to get your Canadian PCC after this? Maybe it will get a clear picture.Thank you! Will that affect me from getting the PR? Not in terms of time, but the passing
No, I wasn't charged. But there is a reprimand which is a conviction that goes on my driving record and the fine.Sorry I didn't got you. Were you charged? Did you try to get your Canadian PCC after this? Maybe it will get a clear picture.
Think about this carefully. No, I wasn't charged. But there is a reprimand which is a conviction that goes on my driving record and the fine.
I haven't gotten my PCC yet because I'm still waiting for the AOR.
Thank you so much for the explanation. Ya I wasn’t charged or summoned to court. I did hired a traffic ticket service go to court for me, so they give me the reprimand, I can keep my merits and reduce the fine.Think about this carefully.
The law in Canada requires that a suspect must be charged AND being successfully convicted in order to receive a criminal record....
You WEREN'T charged.
Then how can you receive a criminal record?
Give me a break.
Yesterday on FB in an immigration thread a girl told us she was busted by police for DUI and smashing a car in a parking lot. She was given a charge sheet and summoned to court. It's the court that determines whether you get a police record, not the police. She's the type of person who needs to worry about her future in Canada. You can't have a criminal record if you don't get summoned to court to undergo legal processes required for such a thing to occur.
Calm your horses.
Not unless they ask - and they may have access to it anyway through RCMP databases when do your Canadian police check.Thank you so much for the explanation. Ya I wasn’t charged or summoned to court. Do I still need to give IRCC the driving record?
Thank you so much! I was worried. Not unless they ask - and they may have access to it anyway through RCMP databases when do your Canadian police check.
You kept your points and reduced your fine lol (well done!), you got nothing to worry about it. You didn't receive a criminal record and a punishment.
