I had my biometrics appointment today and once that was done I saw an update on the portal but there was no email regarding the same. The update was basically having biometrics completed. Not sure if that is considered as a GU but well one step forward.

Biometric is updated instantly, it's not considered a GU.

Yeah I guessed so! Hows your application going so far? Did you get any updates on the background verification? Whats the status showing?

I got a GU on 20 June. But no change in background status. I saw my 1st GU on 21 April just the day after MEP.

Didn't receive any GUs yet.
I came to Canada on WP in 28th May and raised a "change address" webform.

Anyone knows what should I do next? I also tried to call IRCC agent but no luck.

Okay. I also got the same. I was wondering if this is the same background status since AOR? I was not able to capture the default one.

I am seeing this BG status since the 1st GU on the 21st of April. I also don't remember the default BG status.

That is the same background status as post AOR.

ITA received: 2 March 2022
AOR: 6 April 2022

I haven't been checking the application status, looking at 21 months processing timelines but it seems people 2022 applications are moving much faster.

This is my current application status:

I am now concerned about the medical exam status. Shouldn't it have changed by now?
