Hello folks, after reading people update I think there is a serious problem with my parents‘ application, do you have same experience or it’s just my application?
Dec 3–submitted
April 8–request letter for form 5669 for both of them
April19–sent the form with the request letter to the email.
Since then, I never receive anything. The status of application is still returned. I just tried F12 trick, it shows casestatus id8, phase is:1 read only: false and rejection reasons: null. It does not have any updates or any agent info. Does this mean the application got rejected?

No it's not rejected and it's not unusual as well. I had been through this process. My application status restored from 'returned' to 'submitted' after a gap of little over two months after submission of the required documents i.e. imm5406. From your timeline I am sure the status will change soon.

I applied on 4th Dec 2021 and application got returned on April 22, 2022. As requested i send the froms with physical signature back with in a week on the email they provided and since then no update , any idea how can i ask for the update ? is there anyone in the same situation ?

Yes, my timeline is similar to you. submitted on Dec3rd,2021. no AOR or any update at all. Could you please try F12 trick? What is you case status id number? Mine is 8 which means returned. I sent the docs on April 19th.

In our case it took two months for the status restored from "returned" to "submitted" after submission of the required document.

How about your status id when using F12 trick? Mine current is 8, and I submitted the required docs over 2 months. So stressful. I appreciate your reply

Thank you so much for your reply. I wish there will be some movement in my application soon. What a stressful experience. BTW, did you fill out 5476, i applied for my parents as a sponsor, I did not fill out the form, I'm wondering will it be a problem? Thank you

Hi application submitted on October 14,2021, last month received IRCC email regarding missing documents, imm5406, we have re submitted and still waiting for the reply. After this still no news. Is there anyone? With this kinda situation, also still not able to link the file in gc key.

you still have all the background checks to do. Processing times ais around 3 years so you still have a long time until you can expect PPR.

I submitted the application on 27th Nov and no response after that: Ghost email, AOR.. nothing.

Lately, the processing time was set to 34 months (almost 3 years), 2.4m backlogs and now for many, the status getting updated to "SUBMITTED" (7) from status 10. To my mind, it seems like they are putting ice on the PGP applications (maybe for the next year or so). PCC and Medical are only valid for a year.. best to ask applicants to submit these after a year when they actually have time to process our applications.

If you are in a rush, they are encouraging us to apply for super visa.. what better/painless option than to help the economy recover after covid and the current inflation.
30k applicants x $200 (super visa fees) = $6M (lump sum) + insurance.

Again, this is just a guess, and hope it's not true.

$200 likely barely covers that actually processing of the application or actually doesn’t cover the processing. Things like the medical gets reviewed by nurse or physician for example depending on the irregularities for example. There are a lot of hidden costs. The government isn’t making money on any of the applications they offer from visitors to citizenship.

Supervisa and PGP are still luxuries many countries do not allow.
