I finally received request for biometrics but I have a question. We applied for spousal sponsorship outside of Canada, and I looked into making an appointment for biometrics where I’m at but there are absolutely no appointments available where I’m located. My question is, would I be able to make an appointment in Canada where my partner lives because I do visit her once a month? Or does my appointment have to be in the US?

I have conjugal application (same sex) I already passed the medical but Eligibility still in progress. I am a December 2021 applicant.

On the New PR Tracker I am only seeing "Updated" and then the date, but nothing has been updated aside from dates.

Any thoughts what are they doing on our application?

Same for me, I got 3 ghost updates so far but nothing changed in my Tracker or GCkey. I think updates means that officer is working on your file.

How long does it take to get to ppr after medical request submission ?

We have recently received this request through our lawyers.

Dec 17th 2021, Outland application
Received AOR from lawyers on June 13th 2022.

Every file is different but most of the cases get done within 8 months of application submission

No, it shouldn't. Representative and Sponsor can both sign up for the accounts individually.

Pre-arrival was received on April 30, 2022. Since then nothing (except some ghost updates). We don’t know our Visa Office as it was specified but hearing from people, if it isn’t mentioned, it’s most like Ottawa.

from looking at previous applications I'd say it can take any time from 7 days to 3 months.

same here , we got PAL on may 30,2022 and everything completed on the tracker. we don't know the VO
