Student Direct Stream rejected because the purpose of visit is not consistent

Hi guys,

Anyone can help on my application. I just got a rejection letter after waiting for 15 days.
I'm hoping to leave on August so will reapply ASAP.

This is the full rejection letter, the only I can think of is my SOP that's the issue.
What other parts of my application I should check?

Also I did an upfront medical and the medical facility sent my medical directly to CIC, how would I declare the same medical on my new application?

A PG diploma in business makes no sense based on education. How can you justify the costs with a higher salary in the Philippines? Why Canada to attend a college program.

For attending college in Canada, I have plenty of choices from Singapore, Philippines, Bangkok, Australia etc. I would say Canada and Australia would be the best choice for me to get expose and experience handling a business in the west. Canada won the toss up because I have friends who also went to college and have great feedback

How are you showing career progression - promotion and higher paying job ? Will a better job with higher pay, justify thencost of a Canadian education. A PG Business diploma in marketing doesn’t give you experience in handling a businesss. How does a marketing focus build on your hotel career?

We own the hotel, that's why I went straight to become the manager. If the quality off education in Canada as I imagine then it should be worth it.

What do you mean by the PG Business diploma won't give me enough experience? Was I lied by the college because that's one of the selling point I went to that program. Should I contact them for false advertisement so I can recoup the cost I wasted?

It's minor in marketing, so the whole course is not focus on marketing but some electives will be marketing focus which I believe should help me market our hotel. Also it is one of my primary work in the hotel.

For example, I saw a rejection letter that states "Your program of study does not appear reasonable given insufficient information about how will this improve your career...".

So your family owns the hotel or you? That raises further questions because if it is owned by you then why come to Canada for studies. You aren’t promoting yourself. You can take online marketing programs.

It's weird you have more questions and concerns on my motivation on going to Canada than the agent or the college I applied to.

Since the questions became somewhat out of topic and you have not said any specific part of my application that I should look into.

Will just order the GCMS notes and hope for other members who have similar rejection letter to give feedback
