i-94 entry/exit info

I got a request today for full passport copies and US entry/exit info (I-94). I'm a US citizen and don't have access to I-94 entry/exit information. This seems like a silly mistake on their part.

What do you suggest I do? Submit a webform? Or just a "letter of explanation" or something along with the passport page scans?

You can get your most recent I94 from this website:

This does not work for US citizens.

@lingow, you can request for FOIA records but that takes 2-3 months to process. For now you can let them know that you have requested that info but i94 entry/exit does not apply to you.

OK. I didn't know that US citizen cannot get I94. so you can put a letter of explanation and a web form at the same time.

I-94 is for non-immigrant (foreign nationals).

Did they specifically request I-94 or did they use a generic language like “from your country of origin” or “from the countries with past travel”. Just curious since they don’t seem to ask for other countries.

I do have a lot of travel between US and Canada but I thought they had those records anyway.

This is probably why:
The CBSA began collecting traveller exit information on
foreign nationals (excluding American citizens) entering the
United States from Canada on June 30, 2013. As of
July 11, 2019, the CBSA collects exit information on all
travellers (including Canadian and American citizens) in the
land mode and in the commercial air mode as of June 25,
2020.

For whatever reason my I-94 history is much more complete than my CBSA record. Out of curiosity, I submitted an ATIP to CBSA for my entry/exit record. They missed quite a few things. On the other hand, I-94 captured pretty much every single entry/exit.
