She showed her own funds and my own funds and along with my home ties in india.

i received a passport submission request today. We had submitted our visitor visa application at VFS Mumbai, India.
Can anyone share how long before you receive the passport back after submission by the Canadian Mumbai Consulate/VFS ?

App Submitted - Apr 05
Biometrics Appoinment - Apr 11
VFS location - Mumbai.
Passport request letter recd - june 7

Biometrics updated - 28th March
90 days and still waiting.

We're sailing in the same boat. My brother in law(Stays in Toronto on PR) applied for my fiancé on March 19th. We're still waiting for any updates for her.

Currently, IRCC is super slow, but applicants with age more 75 is processed within 15 days.

Is VFS Mumbai taking applications??? I was told we will have to apply on the portal directly as VFS is only booking appointment for Biometrics

eligibility review started Apr 5
The status when i login still shows processing is ongoing for all the categories except biometrics. It does not seem to be updated as it still shows that background checks is in progress

Seriously 147 days that's bullshit who takes that much time just for visit visa. I think after some time IRCC might say you may get approved for visit visa for your next life when you apply in this life.

Oh yeah congratulations! I saw that you got it on another thread. You've also waited far too long! Finally it paid off right?!
Yeah Some countries like UK process it within 6 to 9 days and some countries like Saudi Arabia take 225 days! What a spectrum!
But I guess everyone here in this thread have applied from India. So.. 147 days it is now.
