We completed our long journey after 2 years..

Background verification: Jan 2021
All steps completed and ECAS updated to Decision Made: Jul-2021
Background verification Updated - Jan 2022
Oath Invitation: Mar-2022
Oath Scheduled: 02-Apr-2022
Case Completed: Two days after Oath ceremony.
Certificates Shipped and Received after 10 days.
Passport Application in person (Kitchener) - 19-Apr-2022. Regular Application.
Passports received via Canada post after 10 business days.

My wife got her aor on February 2020 and to this day has not recieved any update whatsoever. We are really worried that her application is just lost and stalled. Anyone in a similar boat? We have recieved no test, nothing at all

Have you contacted IRCC or your MP about this? You should not have waited this long to contact them.

We did 3 months ago and they enquired to receive the standard response. It's in process, nothing is missing etc. Not sure where to go from here. Every contact with ircc, which we do regularly, also yields the same response.

My background check moved from completed to in process today. Language and residency were marked as completed. I think my finger prints expired on May 5. Any idea what is the next step?

It was also all In Progress before the last Oath update last week.

I have a similar case, Feb 2020 applicant still waiting test invite.

I only have background check complete in Jan 2021.

What shall we do in your opinion? I contacted cic multiple times through the web form, the result: normal and in process. I contacted my MP twice, her office didn't reply back. I emailed the test convocation email of Montreal office, they didn't reply back.


If somebody knows the Montreal office email in order for me to contact them I would appreciate it.

You should contact CBC. They're afraid of being exposed.
