PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Does anyone know where to check the status of the PR card? I arrived as a new immigrant on March 26 and am waiting for my first PR card. But I am not sure of the status of the application and I don't see it on my ircc account. There is an option to link my application to the account but it asks for the date I became a PR and I am not sure what date to put in there.

Wow, thanks. It works now. I was finally able to link my account. The date I landed was the date I needed to use.

Its been almost 5 months since we are waiting on our PR cards. I received ECoPR on 11th Dec 2021 but I and my wife both did not receive our PR cards. Every time I try to contact them their customer service is busy to put me in line due to high call volume or their customer support is close. Is there any email address anyone can suggest or any other way we should proceed?

I have a question related to first PR card submitted April 14. In GC keys, I have your card was mailed in May 2, 2022. However, In eCAS, I can't find it. meaning they didn't start the processing yet !!!
Which one is more correct ?

if this is your first PR, then it wouldn’t show up on ECAS, from what I understand. Only in GC Key.
By the way, Just to confirm, it’s your very first card ? When did you land ? If so, that’s pretty fast processing.

Oh I see. Yeah, it seems inland applicants are getting their cards much sooner than those of us that physically landed in Canada. I wonder what is determining the processing time ?

It seems very random...but the Etobicoke office is fast

PR Card first card full timeline here:

Landed: Montreal Airport January 15th 2022
Address Received at IRCC: January 23rd
Ghost update: April 25th
Application Approved on GCkey: May 2nd
Card Mailed: May 4th
Card Received: May 9th

Got the PR card (renewal case) today, 6 May. Here's what the online status says. Good luck everyone!

PR CARD APPLICATION STATUS: Complete
1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 23, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 6, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on December 6, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on April 29, 2022.

Congratulations, it's the same for my son too. Decision made since Jan 2021 but no update on ecas.

They did the same to me on April 6th. I resent my new photo on the same day and submitted the PR portal https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login. It is saying it's in the review no updates still showing under review on the portal. Then a month passed by I got an email from IRCC that I need to submit my photo by replying to this email within 30 days or else my PR card application will get canceled. I replied on the same day with a photo clicked by a professional. No response yet. This process is pathetic. No confirmation, update, or acknowledgment whatsoever. the only threat of my PR card application will get canceled if won't get sent. waiting for the last 5 months now.
