Hey guys unfortunately I worked over twenty hours for a month in March during my studies (three weeks 24, last one 56). I was strapped for cash and took the risk but now I regret it and stopped after March.
I had a few questions over this:
What are the odds I am deported? This is my main fear, as I do not plan on applying for PGWP. Surely they wouldn't deport someone over a month, right?
Also how would they find out? How does the IRCC calculate working hours? Would they only know after taxes are filed in February? Some people on this forum said that the IRCC has no systematic way of knowing and that they only catch you if someone reports you or if they catch you in the act like in the famous case of the truck driver a few years back. Is this true?
Anyway, I am extremely stressed over this and regret it immensely. Any advice/info appreciated.
