Fingerprints are required for background verification only.
Everything else will change to completed few days/weeks before DM.
I wonder when security checks are being done with csis and cbsa, do they do the prohibitions, physical presence and language checks in parallel or those only starts once background verification is completed.

Good morning,

I took and passed the test today!
Good morning,

My tracker updated today and shows that the test has been updated to completed on May 3 .

That means someone actually reviewed the results and pictures taken right?

Man i ve never known i am (we are) this resilient… most if the last 5 years has been spent waiting : waiting for nomination, waiting for ItA, waiting for PR then wainting for 3 years of physical presence, waiting for AoR, waiting for test, now waiting for oath then will be waiting fir passports …jeez will it end someday?! But hats down for all of us! Seriously though we are rock solid

Your citizenship application status: Closed
Reason:
We have approved your application to become a Canadian citizen.

Now it is official...
Another round of waiting...

But what i've noticed the process slowly speeds up. My wife's application was delivered April 19 and yesterday we've got an email that it was filed and created an account for her. My application was delivered Aug 17 and was filed on Sep 24, i.e. 3 weeks later.

Those three things kinda sit there and stare back at you. You'll eventually see them as completed a few days/weeks prior to DM.

Prefer not to be in waiting mode! its quiet difficult for human being to be in this mode for x number of years! As a result frustration and anxiety levels shoot up :) Indeed its a journey of good 5- 10 years of our short life's spent on a switch to knew life kind of a mode ( regardless whether we like it or not, worth it or not ,etc..) though there are much important things we are doing than waiting! actually if you weigh them on a scale, "waiting for...." is least important thing we have been doing, guess most of us are quiet busy raising families, shaping up the new generation of this country, teaching & learning values, spreading love , laughing, crying, eating, etc... all those are priceless moments I guess :)

This is a super quote from you right there! I 100% feel you - thank you mate... all those people here on this forum who are experiencing "live on the spot" life changing days here in every part of Canada, new ways of living, new routine, new quality of life, new problems etc... we surely deserve credit in this life going through all this (including the waiting haha)
