Hi everyone
I am inviting my parents to come for my wedding I am permanent residence.
I wrote the invitation letter and got it notarized provided all my finances proof and marriage license aswell
After they’ve submitted their application I realized I forgot to mention their date of birth on the invitation letter that I wrote.
Will that cause any issues? Thanks

No. Letter didn’t need to be notarized. Probably completed, but they (not you) need to show financial proof that they can afford to visit plus travel history and ties to country etc. If you have the income, a super visa may be the best choice. Did you come to Canada as a refugee or claim asylum? If so then they really need to show their own funds and strong ties to home country (job, property, loans, investments, family). They need to prove that they will not claim asylum at the airport.

Why you Notarized Invitation letter ? It is not required,
As per IRCC below must be there in Letter of Invitation

"
You must include this information about the person you are inviting:
  • complete name,
  • date of birth,
  • address and telephone number,
  • your relationship to the person,
  • the purpose of the trip,
  • blah blah blah..........
You must include this information about yourself:
  • complete name,
  • date of birth,
  • address and telephone number in Canada,
  • job title,
  • whether you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident,
  • blah blah blah..........
So Caseworker might ask for this Or ignore also (50:505 chances)
If you are inviting them as Super VISA you must fulfill LICO requirement , If Normal VV then Parents need to show fund along with tie-ups from home country

Good Luck
