Dar es salaam visa office..but process started in canada Mississauga last yr the application for dependants was sent to Dar es salaam and they requested to fill some forms plus police report to be delivered to them.

Okay things are different probably coz with pilot program the Mississauga office asks for everything the additional documents the police certificate proof of relationship etc

Seems like an issue to confirm dependent identity or the credibility of the relation, most of the time this long processing time is related to background/security check or the credibility concerns by the officer, try to send as much document that proofs your relation as you can. If there is no issue with your security check the new document you sent this year should be finish your journey very soon.

Identity and proof of relationship is what is required here. I guess that is where the delay is. Provide as much as you can

yes so you are not in pilot so in this case you will most likely get PR first then your dependants

Got my prearrival letter on last thurseday 14 Apr but just checked my cic account and findout lol, anyone knows what is the next step and when can i expect for approving and the final step?

Process started at oct 2021
ADR Feb 2022

What was the reason he did not apply at first place until he is out of status? that raise possibility of Minister intervention...

He applied to economic class because he has degree during that time.

Objection from the Minister's Counsel that the applicant is not geniune claimant.... When did he arrived, when did he apply for the economic class?

He arrived last year and applied for humanitarian class. He also applied for TRP but refused in Etobicoke. He never went home since he arrived. His Visa is only six month.

Your friend needs to hire Immigration lawyer if time has not lapsed for Review. I am not sure, if you can apply for the refugee claim once your humanitarian class application is rejected. I know the other way round....Your friend situation is complicated, He/She should claimed at first place.

Yes thats what I thought he should apply for Refugee claim instead h and c first, his H and C is just 8 months in the system and no update yet. He is planing to withdraw and apply for refugee claim. He is out of status and cannot support himself.

Withdrawing claim while out of status, will trigger removal. i dont think he can withdraw and re-apply as a refugee claimant? what makes him/her think that he will get eligibility interview and work permit soon before h&c determination?

Withdrawing claim while out of status, will trigger removal. i dont think he can withdraw and re-apply as a refugee claimant? what makes him/her think that he will get eligibility interview and work permit soon before h&c determination?

I have no idea since his app in H and C has no progress so far and he has no work thats why cannot hire a immigration lawyer.
