@Newfoundland991 Is there a way to delay submission of passport for RFV ? I am worried they may give early expiry for COPR date ( one of my friends got just 2 months notice, her application took almost 2 years) and I would not be able to visit that because of my current visa status in USA. Also do you have steps for how to sent passport for VAC NY ?

Hi, COngrats on receiving COPR, I have a question regarding sending passsport to VAX new york by VFS. I am unable to download consent form from their website. Where did you get consent form from ? Is that a generic form available on google search ?

I think their H1-B is an initial H1-B that would only be active from Oct this year even if processed in premium and approved.

Yeah, that is all you have to do. Also tell them it's an upfront one.

I do not have anyone else on my application. Just to be safe I'd suggest sending all the photos and put in a letter written on blank paper explaning. The VAC will verify the photos and use the correct ones.
I got mine from Walgreens who can print the Canada passport photos but we'll have to cut them out ourselves. They also stamp the back with the location address to comply with the things the RFV email instructions.

Got it. I had got my first photos from Wallgreens only but the trick was to ask them not to cut. But they cutter they have is 50*50

@Amendosmith: congrats on your PR! How did you find your return FedEx tracking number?

For me, today, the VFS NY tracking updated to say "Please use Tracking id. or the AWB number provided to track the shipment on the courier partners website after 24hrs." I have not received any tracking ID or AWB number.

I am asking as I don't get the update emails from VFS (not sure why) so curious if this FedEx tracking ID email will come from VFS or Fedex?

Hi,
I am principle applicant and Pakistani National, my dependent is my wife and she is US citizen. After PPR I send my Passport to VFS (Karachi-Pakistan) I got my visa stamped after 8 working days from the date of submission to VFS.
My wife submitted her pictures, PPR letter, bio detailed table and money for VFS NY but didnot get her COPR letter yet, though she dont need any Visa for Canada but as a PR she must have COPR letters.
Its almost a month now as she submitted her above documents and she just got last email that application is under process in IRCC office / VFS.
How much time will NY-VFS take to just send my wife COPR letter?
Please reply me members...
