Hi, I only have letter from my current work not on the previous ones tho.
Thats ehy I'm thunking if I can only use the CRA T4s

I don't know to be honest. The document checklist that AAIP provides is pretty specific around how you need a letter that mentions duties, responsibilities, contact info, etc. You might want to ask a consultant on how to proceed.

Hey everyone, I am curious about the "Alberta-based Tech Industry" does the company's primary source of business being in Tech? Is there a list of employers/businesses that are eligible to fall under this? For example, if someone finds a job in an HR Consulting company whose main business is non-tech, as an IT Analyst (NOC2171)?

I'm assuming you've had a look at the AAIP list of eligible NAICS codes?

The eligibility page says:

• you are working full-time in Alberta or have a job offer for full-time employment based in Alberta (full-time is a minimum 30 hours per week):
  • in an occupation on the list of eligible Accelerated Tech Pathway occupations (PDF, 165 KB) and
  • for an employer that is part of the Alberta tech industry as defined by the AAIP list of eligible North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes (PDF, 190 KB)

So sounds like your company would need to fall under one of those. I'm not super familiar with the Accelerated Tech Pathway though, so better to confirm with an expert.

Wait, your post says you have filed your taxes...? I'm guessing you meant that you have not filed your taxes?
If you can, I'd probably just do that soon so you can have your notice of assessment and send it to them.
If not, maybe a T4 from 2021 would do...? Not sure if they would accept your 2020 info since that is an entirely different year.

Thanks for the list, I see, so even if you are offered a tech role but the company' industry is not one of those listed, then it you won't meet the requirement. This is something to be considered then when looking for a employer, cheers!
