It really painful am sure before next week good news is coming, for us is years when I read some post most people didn't see there spouse for 12 months and frustrated which is normal because it's not easy, imagine us the last time I saw my husband is 2019, thank God for keeping us till this time.
It wasnt easy indeed. But the end is near. I can hold on to that. It must have been hard to not see your husband since 2019. I was blessed to have seen him every year since we married but the good byes were painful and it got more and more difficult each time I left.

Where do you have to pick up the envelope? At a DHL location? They dont deliver to your home or office?

What is the timeline for new PR cards/Social insurance number?
Depending on airport, you may be able to do/get SIN at airport. If not, you can do online - it takes a few weeks. If you really need faster, you can go to a service canada location and get immediately - I don't know about reservations etc. (Did your spouse previously have or work in Canada?)

PR card - 30-100 days for most.

Thank you for your response. He has never worked in Canada but I want to start the process as he has an interview with a Canadian company. If they still offer it at the entry/airport that would be great.

Even the online procedure doesn't take so long, and it is pretty reliable (exception are eg cases where someone has lived/worked in Canada before, which is why I asked).

The instructions to providers are pretty simple: as long as the employer checks (in good faith) that the employee has applied for sin, they won't have any issues, so they can employ him without worrying. (Of course employers are pretty conservative...)
