Just got an invitation to schedule Citizenship Test on 28th Apr - still got some hope. Hang in there everyone.

2 years for a test? Still ridiculous...

Gave my citizenship test on March 04 and got a temporary test pass result right after submitting on the website (19 out of 20). However, I have not received an official email saying I have passed, I have heard a lot of people received an email confirmation too. On the portal, the status of my test has been updated to Completed, along with background verification. Everything else says in progress.

Any idea if the email still matters? Also, no update since March 04.

Yes - check the website - there are some walkin one for Canada Services Office. Some have changed due to Covid.

Have you checked the spreadsheet for all the timelines ? 2020 Citizenship Application You may be able to find someone similar. From some of the threads oath invite can take up to 3-4 months.

Hey folks, I send my passport photocopy end of last November to Mississauga office and still waiting? Anyone know how many months estimate to wait

My oath is scheduled for April 9th, DM on Jan 25th
My wife's oath is scheduled for April 11th, DM on March 23rd

If I remember correctly, after you've submitted the test you have to click to request for the email on test results to be sent to you. Anyway, whether you have the email or not, when your ECAS says "Completed" it means that you officially passed the test. The items still in progress are those they still work on and you can't do anything but wait.

I do not remember seeing anything that said request email. But good that the portal is updated to say completed. Any idea about how long the next update takes?
