Finally got some update. Got an email asking for my biometrics for background verification. Question- Do I need to take both my PR card and Proof of permanent residency paper with me for biometrics ? because I cant seem find proof of permanent residency paper.

We took the passport and Drivers license for the fingerprints

For me the guy asked DP and landing paper
Safe side take all the docs u have from the list

I didn't have my home country passport , so they were ok with DL and PR card + printout of the letter for FP you would have received in the email.

I've seen a lot of applications here with background verification completed but they were never asked to submit rcmp fingerprints. Did you submit your rcmp fingerprints ?. Are they picking up random people for fingerprints or just people with Indian passport ?.

I suppose its for all who doesnt have finger prints within last 1 year
But u never know whats they criteria
Random or everyone. ‍

Hello all, the latest update is that they asked for us to provide again the colored copies of our passports. Although we had provided ( colored copies) when we submitted our application but they have asked again. In addition they mentioned to translate any visas or stamps( which are in any other language) in ENGLISH OR FRENCH by registered licensed translator.
Have anyone had this kind of experience of providing copies of passport again ?
