Online Application (new portal) for visit visa from India

Timeline:
Application Submitted - Feb 14
Biometric Validity Letter - Feb 15 ( since i hv biometric done for my prev work visa 3years back and still valid)
Original Passport Request - Feb 22
Passport Pickup - Feb 24
Passport at IRCC delhi - March 2

Its been 3 weeks and still not received the passport . No update from IRCC Delhi.

Since you applied for visitor visa on the new portal, do you have any relatives or someone who sent you invitation letter or something of that sort? I need to re apply for my visitor's visa as its expiring in June.

Hi guys one quick question, so I had got my work permit stamped in Jan 2022 when I had to use the 2 way courier service. Is this still the same? Because I was going through Canada VFS website and it seems they are allowing to drop the passport? Not sure if the information is obsolete? Link is given below.

Actually, my parents are planning to visit Delhi VFS and take passports out of UK VFS and give it directly to Canada VFS assuming this link. has correct information. That might cut down those 2 to 3 days of processing, as UK might request the passport in maybe another 2 or 3 weeks. I have raised webform and mailed my CPC for extension but not sure if they would reply, since COVID it seems they arent too responsive.

Hello, friends, I need urgent help.

We received the PPR letter on 25th March 2022 and are in process of passport submission to VFS.

I want to know if we can send the scanned copy of the completed Consent Form & Courier Return Form in the courier envelope to VFS.

How do I manage the fact that my mum doesnt have property in India?
Should I open an account for my dad and use that to submit for both?

It doesn't matter if your mom didn't have any properties. You just explain in the letter 'my parents have to return India to look after my fathers properties. My mom will be there to support my dad on day to day responsibilities.' Add something like this.
If your father is retired tell them 'he needs to get his pension'. etc etc.
Put as much possible info.

I suggest you to use one account put your father as principal applicant and your mom as spouse/dependent. Just a suggestion.

Did you receive your passport? My passport reached IRCC delhi on 2 nd march and no update till now.

Received 1 passport back on March 27th, the other one is 'In Transit' with bluedart, expected date of delivery is March 30th.
Pickup date for both was March 19th.
Decision date was March 25th and March 26th respectively.
