name slightly differnt in canadian passport and indian passport

So im having a peculiar problem. my indian passport has my full name in the given name e.g xxx yyy in the given name and surname is empty.
but my landing document , pr, and canadian passport has xxx as first name and yyy as last name.
Can i apply for oci with this difference. i will post my application so wondering if you guys have any idea if its ok or what can be done now.

Have you first completed surrendering your passport before even thinking about OCI? If Surrender is already done, it should be the doable for OCI.

No. I am planning to apply surrender and oci together as vancouver jurisdiction allows it.
should I apply surrender first and then oci?
