The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has removed five more occupations from its In-Demand Occupation List.
The following occupations were removed:
NOC 0124 — Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
NOC 1112 — Financial and investment analysts
NOC 1123 — Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations
NOC 2211 — Chemical technologists and technicians
NOC 2241 — Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
The removal of these categories brings the number of professions currently on SINP’s In-Demand Occupations list to 35. All occupations on the list are forecasted to be in-demand in Saskatchewan for the next five years.
Of the 35 eligible occupations, 23 are regulated occupations with professional certification standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan. These 23 occupations require additional proof of licensure or professional status. The other 12 eligible occupations do not require this additional licensure or proof of professional status.
