The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program held an Expression of Interest draw to invite 140 International Skilled Worker candidates in the Occupations In-Demand sub-category on September 20, 2018.
The lowest-ranked candidate invited had 75 points under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)'s unique points assessment grid.
This marks the second SINP Expression of Interest (EOI) draw after the province replaced its first-come, first-served system in July of this year. All foreign nationals interested in immigrating to Saskatchewan under the Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories can being the process by registering in the SINP's OASIS online system and completing an EOI profile.
A key requirement for all Occupations In-Demand candidates is to demonstrate at accumulate at least one year work experience in a skilled occupation listed in the SINP's In-Demand Occupation list.
All candidates issued an Invitation to Apply for a provincial nomination will have 60 days to submit a complete online application to the SINP.
SINP EOI profiles are assessed based on candidates responses to questions related to work experience, education and language proficiency in English or French, and other factors.
Profiles are then assigned a score out of 100 based on Saskatchewan’s unique assessment grid. Candidates must obtain at least 60 points and satisfy other eligibility requirements to be considered for invitation.
