Dear All

I am Eng. Abdullah from resident in Dubai

I send My File In 10 December 2013 and as the courier services They deliver For the Quebec immigration

Till Now i don't receive My file Number or acknowledgment letter or any thing else from Them

For who is done his Landing My question is ?

How long i need to wait to get My file Number

How long the processing till i will be in Canada

I all ready contact them and the y ask me for my first and family name and My date of birth

and the confirm that is my file was receive and open

but they told me that i must send the letter and tell that i don't receive file number

i do the same what they told me last month

i think i need to wait only

Hi Vizsagar,

The only update is that I've done my ECG from my private doctor first and he said that everything is fine. Then, I went to IOM and they referred me to some other hospital. That hospital took my further medical exam (ECG) inside some big machine. Took 6 straight hours for that test to be completed while I was just lying there.

Now, that doctor will hand me the report (sealed) and I have to go back to IOM and give them the report so that they can put that in my medical file (probably on Monday, which is tomorrow)

Hope everything is well.

btw, I've heard from somewhere else in this forum ( http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/second-medical-exam-need-help-pls-t86206.0.html;msg1075108#msg1075108 ) that if you get second medical (1st medical was in Oct 2012, 2nd was in March 2014), it would mean that they have already made a positive decision on our file, but since medical is only valid for 12 months, for them to issue visa, one must have medical valid for at least 4 months. That's the reason they are requesting for 2nd medical. Otherwise, they would refuse straight away and wouldn't see any reason to request medical.

So, lets hope for the best. ;D

Does anyone know where I can find timeline for people who have done their medicals in Pakistan?

How long does it take (after medicals) to get your PPR?
