Hi friends, I need your help in our critical condition. As my husband applied for Federal skilled visa in May, 2014, we got request for medicals in mid-September. Our medicals were 'ok' and submitted to high commission on 23rd September. Meanwhile, my husband also got admission in one of top B-School, Canada. His classes will start from 1st Jan.

The problem is that we have only 2.5 months to get PR. If we dont get PR then my hubby has to apply for student visa and everybody knows that it takes 1-month. That means for safe side, we need PR within 1.5 months, if we dont opt student visa.

My question is that is it possible to get visa within 1.5 months ??. Or if we dont get then Does my hubby need to apply for student visa ?? If he apply for student visa, then would our PR rejected/cenceled ??

Please guide me. Looking forward uou wuivk response. Thanks in advance :)

Re: Your Help is Very Very important-Urgent

Re: Your Help is Very Very important-Urgent

Please advise me, if my husband apply for student visa then will it hamper the process of PR ??
My 2nd question is: Will it possible to get passport request within 1-month after our medicals ??

Plz plz plz guide me ASAP.
Thanks !!!

No - applying for a student visa will not hamper the PR process.
I have no idea how quickly you'll receive your visas.

Your PR visa won't be affected. BUT, your student visa might be denied if you have a PR application pending because technically you have to show non-immigrant intention while applying for student visa. What I would do is talk to the university and see if you can defer admission for another semester.
