Your experience (and timeline) of FBI report

I just read another post indicating that CIC actually cancelled a person's application because his FBI report was 9 months old (as opposed to 6), even though he explained that he applied for an updated report and that it takes 3~4 months to get this report (per the FBI site).

If you have applied for an FBI police report and already received it in the mail, would you please share the timeline? An estimate is fine... Like when did you mail out the application, when did the payment process and when did you get the report?

My score is 461 and I'm expecting and hoping to receive an ITA in 2-5 weeks.. I already mailed out the FBI application last Friday, but they haven't processed the payment yet. I just wanted to get a feel on when I should expect what.

I have an inner conflict right now, because as much as I want to get an ITA tomorrow (if there will be a draw), I'm also afraid that my application might get cancelled if my police report doesn't arrive in the mail within those 60 days. So I don't know whether to hope for an early ITA or for a delayed one! :-\

Search FBI PCC in forum and you will get many threads with FBI PCC timeline. I am in the same situation as yours.
According to the replies.. it is not taking less than 3 months to get PCC from FBI. On FBI site, it is mentioned that 12-14 weeks.

May 12th deducted fees from my CC
Awaiting report now. BTW, I applied from India.
