LOL, this post seems to have become a bit complicated.
Parth9999, for clarification, 'accompanying' does not mean your spouse has to 'land' alongside you. It means your spouse would be considered for permanent residency (PR) along with your application for PR.

- The main thing is to ensure you indicate that you are 'married' in your application. Indicating that you are 'single' would amount to misrepresentation. It would also prevent you from being able to sponsor your wife in the future, if your application is approved and you become a permanent resident.
- Indicate that your spouse is 'NOT accompanying', if you do not want your wife to be granted permanent residency at the same time as you, if your application is approved. If you choose this option, you will need to sponsor your wife for permanent residency later on when she is ready to join you. The spousal sponsorship programme can take upward of 12 months to be processed, so do not choose this option unless you are okay with potentially being apart from your wife for this long.
- Indicate that your spouse is 'accompanying', if you want her to be granted permanent residency at the same time as you, if your application is approved. If this happens, your wife will NOT need to 'land' in Canada at the same time as you. You can land first, and she can join you weeks, even months, later, as long as she also lands before the expiration date.
