Our application changed to this yesterday but the most recent correspondence is back on Sept 12 (asking for scans of passport)

Give it some time to come. Usually it can take up to a week to get correspondence letter.

If it doesnt come through you may want to give them a call

You entered Canada without having your confirmation of Permanent Residence Letter??
Then did you have your passport stamped??

You just need your CoPR (mailed directly to you by your VISA office), along with your (stamped) passport of course.

You do not need the message received in your MyCIC account.

I only had stamped passport with me. Nothing else.

I just got my study permit at airport. I don't know anything about CoPR.

Bottom line is: CoPR is required to land as a PR.
