Well she did her medical already in june 2019. She passed it allahumdullah but still didnt have her eligibility passed yet. So why does she have to do a second medical?

Some countries have longer processing times. Many have their own threads and almost all have over 12 months processing times. Not uncommon for medicals to be extended if it has been slightly over 1 year.

I got message on my account that my application is taking long than usual process. Then says this: About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. My wife did all the steps. Now it says review whether you meet the eligibility requirements and we are processing your background check. My wife application processing says 100% complete
Can you guys help me and tell me what is going to happen next? When will she get the PPR? I submitted last year dec 28 2018.

Oh.... I am also there. They are very slow. Oh Friday my husband sent a web form inquiry and they replied that file under review... have no any idea what it means, but maybe u could try to do it and maybe will get some answers... but since u r over 12 months already u can connect mp.....

I'm not in that stage. They are still doing background check on my wife. Still in process. My wife file is reaching 1yr and 7months next month. Terrible process

Dont worry if you have done your bionetrics and recieved pre arrival InshA Allah in the month of jan first your wife will recieve re medical and after 4 to 5 days PPR
I was in ths same situation

What is re medical. I got pre arrival letter in Nov 2019 till now no ppr may be due to covid 19 sent web form to ask for update and what next up till now three weeks after no reply. Have 100 percent timeline too

Feb 2019 Aor1 plus medical
June 2019 completed medical
Aug 2019 Aor2/transfer to lvo
Oct 2019 biometrics request / completed biometrics
Nov 2019 Additional docs and translation
Silence till mar 2020 - update schedule A and travel history form
Then covid 19 happened and file was shut for 7months
Sept 2020 final adr request / Pre arrival letter
Oct 2020 medical extended
Nov 2020 DM and PPR
Application approval dec 1
Copr and stamped passport dec 1st
Landed as a pr dec 5th

Total process took 35months!!

A friend of mine submitted since January 5th, 2019. Since then no email for passport submission.

same situation with your friend. I submitted mine in August 2019 but until now haven't heard from IRCC
