"Your application has been updated" but nothing changed?!

So i got this email saying that there's an update in my profile but when I checked nothing changed? Is this a glitch or something ?

No it simply means that a cic agent or a Visa officer has opened and checked your application online. Doesn't necessary means that a change has occurred to your application.

there was an update to ministerial instructions, and a programming revision. Mostly affecting those with Canadian experience. So likely everyone's profile was updated.

Did you have your birthday recently? Then you would have lost 5 points if you are more then 29 years of age and you had birthday after creating your profile. One possibility

This is very good information, good news from CIC. Will definitely prove useful to many applicants. What I find most interesting is the timing of the announcement and how it helps out people under CEC. I am hoping this means we are going to see a CEC-specific draw this weekend.

How do we know that our application has been opened by the officials and they are evaluating. i mean to ask how to check online about our status of our application.

so what about BOWP . since i applied it, got updated twice when i open nothing change?!!
