I am a Swedish citizen currently on an IEC working holiday workpermit that expires August 9th. As a swedish citizen we are allowed to participate in IEC twice but it must be in a different category the second time. I’ve looked in to YP a little bit and hopefullt I can apply in that category, I haven’t yet spoken to my employer about it, but I know they have to submit something and pay a fee. However, I want to know more about how long it takes to get a response is it as fast as working holiday or does it take longer? If I submit everything let’s say 30 days before my working holidays expires, will the new work permit come on time so that I am still able to work? I hope anybody can help. Thank you!
