Young Professional Visa and Spouse

Hi,
i'm in the process of moving with my current employer to canada.

the most straightforward route based on discussions with HR and their legal counsel looks to be the Young Professional IEC 2 year permit.

the only problem i see with that is that you can't bring dependents.

our current plan is that i'll transfer with work while my wife would study (she's waiting to hear back from a number of courses but let's assume she's accepted).

would there be any issue with us traveling together but seeking different permits, my work permit and her student?

long term plan would be convert to permanent residence once we're settled as she is coming towards the end of her studies.

i'd appreciate any advice anyone here can give

So what NOC classification is your YP job given although dependants cannot apply under same application see following link where spouse applies independently off back of the work permit holder.

No problem getting separate permits YP and study independently although still need to ensure you fill any forms in as married of course.

There are a few posts around asking same question and apart from the spouse work permit option some people start out with spouse as a visitor.

My NOC will be 0 or A - not exactlysure which yet.

After speaking with my employer's immigration lawyer I've now created my profile and been placed in the pool.

there look to be approx. 2k spaces open and less than ten people in the pool. any idea how quickly I should get an invite to apply?
